六盘水职业技术学院简介
六盘水职业技术学院地处有“中国凉都”之称的贵州省六盘水市，是“省市共管、以市为主”的全日制普通高等职业院校，于2002年6月由原六盘水市农业学校、六盘水市卫生学校、六盘水市财经学校、林业科学研究所、农业机械研究所、农业科学研究所（称“三校三所”）组建成立，省教育厅核定办学规模为8000人。
学院现有占地面积33.3万平方米，建筑面积19.2万平方米，开设医学、护理、财经、生物工程、商务管理、社会科学、信息工程、工业8个系。批准开设护理、会计、计算机应用技术等59个专业，常年招生专业保持在25个左右，现有普通全日制高职在校生8856人。学院拥有纸质图书近48.9万册，教学仪器设备总值2亿元，高职生均教学设备值达2.39万元。现有教职工504人，专任教师372人，其中“双肩挑”教师48人，现有硕士92人，副教授以上职称111人，高级职称比为30%。有省级职教名师2人，省级优秀教学团队1个，“中青年骨干教师”访问学者2人，“西部之光”访问学者3人，“甲秀之光”访问学者4人，全国煤炭标准化技术委员会（SAC/TC42）委员1人、中国煤炭加工利用协会煤质和煤炭检验分会理事1人，校内外实习实训基地209个。2022年1月“煤矿智能开采技术”专业群获省教育厅高水平专业群建设立项。
近年来，学院党委被评为全省、全市脱贫攻坚先进党组织，共获立项科研项目63个（纵向科研项目45个，横向科研项目18个），申请发明专利7项，获外观设计专利16项、实用新型专利44项，公开出版主编教材3部、参编教材23部，“苦荞产业关键技术研究与应用”获贵州省科技进步二等奖，教职工公开发表学术论文500余篇，在各类竞赛活动中荣获国家级和省级三等奖以上166项，其中，“大数据技术与应用”获全国二等奖，“计算机网络应用”获全国三等奖（实现了贵州省在此项目零的突破），“养老服务”获全国三等奖，在全国机械行业技能大赛中“产品创新设计与快速成型”获全国三个一等奖的第一名，毕业生平均就业率均达93%以上，用人单位满意度在95%以上。建院近20年来，学院全面贯彻落实党的教育方针，把办人民满意的职业教育作为建院宗旨，凝练出“厚德精技、服务社会”的校训，学院始终把为区域经济社会发展提供优质技术技能人才作为立校价值体现，以六盘水市产业结构调整和转型升级对技能人才的需求为导向，在不断探索实践和改革创新中砥砺前行。先后顺利通过了省教育厅组织的“办学水平评估” “人才培养工作评估”及“思想政治教育工作评估”等考察评估工作，累计为六盘水市培养输送了3万余名合格的劳动者和技术技能人才，培训农村实用技术等各类人员5万余人次，对六盘水市经济社会发展做出了应有贡献。

Introduction to Liupanshui Vocational and Technical College
Liupanshui Vocational and Technical College was established in June 2002 by the former Municipal Agricultural School, Municipal Health School, Municipal Finance School, Forestry Science Research Institute, Agricultural Machinery Research Institute, and Agricultural Science Research Institute, (which are short for “three schools and three institutes”), with a total enrollment of 8000 students. The college covers an area of 333,000 square meters with a building area of 128,700 square meters. It has 8 departments including medicine, nursing, finance and economics, business management, biological engineering, industry, social science, and information engineering. We have approved the establishment of 59 majors, including nursing, accounting, and computer application technology and the total enrollment majors are controlled within 25 generally. At present, there are 8,962 full-time students in higher vocational colleges. The total value of teaching equipment in the college is 200 million yuan, and the value of teaching equipment per student is 23,900 yuan. There are 502 faculty and staff members, including 369 full-time teachers, 52 of whom are participated in administrative and teaching work. 22% of full-time teachers have a master’s degree or above, 31% are double-position teachers, 102 are associate professors or above, and 28% have high professional title. There are 2 provincial-level vocational teachers, 1 provincial-level excellent teaching team, and 209 training bases inside and outside the college.
In the past 20 years since the establishment of the college, the college has fully implemented the party’s educational policy, and has regarded vocational education that the people are satisfied with as the purpose of the establishment of the college. The college has formed a vocational college spirit centered on “the scientific spirit of seeking truth and pragmatism, the spirit of love and dedication, the spirit of craftsmanship, and the creative spirit which keeps with the times”. At the same time, the college has condensed the school motto of “honest morality, fine skills, and serving the society”.
Guided by the demand for skilled talents in Liupanshui’s industrial structure adjustment, transformation and upgrading, the college has always regarded the provision of high-quality technical and skilled talents for regional economic and social development as a reflection of the school’s value and forge ahead in continuous exploration, practice, reform and innovation.
The college has successfully passed the inspection and evaluation work organized by the Provincial Department of Education, such as “Evaluation of School Running Level”, “Evaluation of Talent Training Work” and “Evaluation of Ideological and Political Education Work”. And the coal mine intelligent mining technology professional group has been approved as a provincial high-level vocational school and a high-level professional group construction unit in 2021. A total of more than 30,000 qualified laborers and technical and technical personnel have been trained and transported for Liupanshui City, and more than 50,000 people have been trained in practical skills in rural areas, making great contributions to the economic and social development of Liupanshui City.
